BIG BOY BED!!!!

Here it is! Mikey's big boy bed. It was delivered on Tuesday. So far Mikey's only fallen out of it once. I guess that's not good when he's only had it 2 days. He was fooling around yesterday at nap time and fell out and has a HUGE bruise/scape on his head. Oops. Time to get a bed rail.

Butt Kicked

I just got my butt kicked by Yuli. She's the instructor of the Barre Workout class I'm taking. Yeah, no ballet in 15 years... I'm going to be SORE tomorrow. No pictures needed to visualize the pain.

First day of School!

Here are Ian and Lucas on Ian's first day of 3rd grade. I can't believe it... It really has gone by sooooo fast.
His teacher is Ms. Lee. She will be his teacher for half the year, and then Mrs. Ramsey will come back in February from an extended leave. Ian says she's really nice. She seems really organized. She's one of the new teachers, and has a lot of great ideas.

Master Lucas' first day of preschool was Friday. He had Scruffy with him to keep him company, of course. We were 5 minutes late and got a total stare-down from the teacher. We won't be late again!

Mikey is a very good helper in the kitchen. He helped me with Katie's greenbeans. He also helped me make chocolate chip cookies last week and wants to make more cookies. If only he'd eat some cookies instead of leaving me to eat 4 dozen cookies by myself, darn it.

Summertime Fun with Ninang Jessie

First stop -- Ramen-ya and Yogurt-land! Yummy! Thanks for taking the picture, Ian.

You get to choose from over a dozen yogurt flavors, then add your own toppings. Blueberry yogurt was the overwhelming favorite, and as for the toppings, the gummy bears won out. Sooooo good!

Next stop -- Santa Monica Beach! It was so nice and cool at the beach.
