Ice Cream Truck Treat

Mikey got a fudgecicle off the Ice Cream truck lastnight. It was his first time to get a treat from it. It got VERY drippy and he didn't want to finish it anymore. Next time he wants a lollipop instead. Hmm... off the ice cream truck???

We caught a foul ball in the top of the 7th inning! Well, we didn't actually CATCH it. The ball was headed about 10 rows above us, out of our reach, but then we got a lucky bounce -- right into Lucas' seat! Then I smothered it with my hands... Yay! Happy Kiddies!

Man, did time fly by. How did my baby get to be 9?!? Ian and Lucas and the buddies (Thomas and Coco) had a blast today. Wish we were in Mexico -- but we'll make it there soon. Thank you for all the wonderful presents and well wishes.

Last night we went to Blake and Jenni's place and Jason got to use his new fishing pole.

Project #3

The "Domesticated Skirt."

That's what the woman called it on her blog. I found this when I was looking for a skirt pattern for Katie's MSU skirt. The blog is called "Sew in a Straight Line" which is what I'm trying to master. I liked what she did, so I thought I'd try making something for myself :) Her skirt was much neater than mine. I had to tweak a few things since she had a sewing tool I don't have. It is reversable for when you get it dirty and need a quick change!

Now I'm looking for project #4. Stay tuned...
