This kid is fearless. It helps that he's so close to the ground so it's not far when he falls. In 2 hours, Lucas went from hugging the wall, to crossing the entire rink! Cajones!

Yippee! One last trip to the Water Park in Frankenmuth to end the year! We had a great time. Here are just a few pictures of our days on vacation.

Sewing Day

Katie took a really good nap and Derek and Mikey were out, so I finally had time to set up my sewing machine and hem some pants that have been sitting on my table for a month.

I just felt like sewing more, so I made Katie a little pillow from old receiving blankets. I don't know if she'll use it, but it's soft so maybe she'll like it in her bed.

Then I got really inspired and made a little quilt/pad for Katie's cradle. Now her dolls will have something a little softer to sleep on :) I cut and sewed all the squares, put quilt batting in it and sewed on a solid color back! I'm very impressed with myself if you can't tell already. I can't wait for you to see it in person!

Jackie's First Thanksgiving!

Wow! It's been a long time since the last Homecoming post!

Here's a little taste of our wonderful weekend at Jackie and Jason's house. It was a great first Thanksgiving on Guild, and we're looking forward to this family tradition for years to come!
