Winter at the Zoo

We went to the Zoo a couple Sundays ago... before the big snowstorm hit. We had a really fun time, even though it was COLD. There wasn't many people, so the kids ran free without getting lost.

Lucas and Minh -- First sleepover! 2-20 to 2-21

So much fun to sleep over at a buddy's house! They were both so good (and it helped that they were tired, and that it was 10:30pm when they got into their PJs).

We kicked some butt :) Robert's shots were all in the orange area, lower left corner, and all but one of mine were in the orange, too. It was fun!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Lucas did a great job with his Valentines -- he cut out 24 small hearts for his classmates (and wrote his name on each one), and decorated the teachers' hearts all by himself! I suggested that Daddy help with the cutting, and he said, "No! I can do it, Mom!" We'll see what goodies they come home with -- sugar buzz all day long...

After a year of sewing...

I actually made a couple things for gifts! These are the first things I've made that I'm actually giving away. My friend, Amy, just had a baby girl on Monday and Autumn's baby shower is Sunday. It was fun making stuff for someone other than the kids and me :)

The first pic is where the stove is/was. The second shot is the front bath, minus the toilet -- YUCK! And the third shot shows how deep the water was when the damage just happened. Nightmare!!!! Disgusting, gross, ugh.




Here's our living room -- all our bedroom junk is piled high. But it will be back in the bedroom soon!

Our kitchen now -- looks great!

No more yucky, sticky, moldy floor in the bathroom.
