A special hat for a special boy!

I taught myself how to do the stripes for Mikey's bulls eye hat. It was a lot of fun to make and Mikey really likes it! The next hat will be something for Katie...maybe a carrot? :-)

It all started with some baby blankets and little hats...

The baby blankets were fun to knit, but it was time to learn how to knit something that wasn't a rectangle! I think the matching baby hats turned out great!

Mikey's Bowling Party

I had a lot of fun celebrating Mikey's Birthday - especially at the Bowling Party! The kids had a lot of fun and they LOVED Joni's Angry Birds Cookie Cake. (next time...more yellow birds, Joni!)

Angry Birds On Thin Ice?!?! It's my 2nd dream come true!!

Michael turns five!

Michael had a great 5th Birthday. Here are some pictures from his Birthday Celebration with his friends and our little "actual birthday" Birthday Celebration.

Can you believe she's 3???

Katie didn't just have a great birthday, she had a great birthday weekend!

Here's her birthday door. She had fun walking through her "bubbles."

What's this helmet for???
Voila! Thank you Aunties and Uncles!
A little ice skating to celebrate!

Look at this mountain of presents!
Mikey is giving Katie a birthday kiss after she opened the gift he gave here - purple and pink swimming goggles!
Sleeping Beauty that comes with a Katie size dress! Thanks Ninang Jessie and Ninong Scott!
A Princess Cake!!! But where do the candles go? The cupcakes!
Katie modeling a few gifts - swimming goggles, dress PJs and the Sleeping Beauty doll (in her PJs, too).

THE Cake. The PRINCESS Cake.

Here it is... the play by play of the Princess Cake.

Boy - that's a lot of cake and frosting! AND a bath time Sleeping Beauty doll? This girl picked the right kind of cake!

All baked on Saturday, and put in the freezer until assembly on Sunday.

Now that's some PINK frosting! Perfect for a Princess skirt. Getting ALL the layers of the cake ready.

Katie wanted to put the doll in the cake. She was a good helper.

I had to "fill her in" with some frosting. And Ta-Da!
