Play by Play (as Jon' would say) of the Poncho!

Something for me - a poncho! This was the start where I could begin to see the shape...it was pretty exciting to see I was doing it right!!
The strips were cool...amazing what you can do when you follow a pattern!
Neck shaping...a little confusing at first, but I got the hang of it.
After finishing side #2, I sewed it together and knitted the cowl and Tah dah - done!
Modeling my first big project! Now I guess I have to wait until Fall to wear it :-(

A special hat for a special boy!

I taught myself how to do the stripes for Mikey's bulls eye hat. It was a lot of fun to make and Mikey really likes it! The next hat will be something for Katie...maybe a carrot? :-)

It all started with some baby blankets and little hats...

The baby blankets were fun to knit, but it was time to learn how to knit something that wasn't a rectangle! I think the matching baby hats turned out great!

Mikey's Bowling Party

I had a lot of fun celebrating Mikey's Birthday - especially at the Bowling Party! The kids had a lot of fun and they LOVED Joni's Angry Birds Cookie Cake. (next time...more yellow birds, Joni!)

Angry Birds On Thin Ice?!?! It's my 2nd dream come true!!

Play by play of THE Angry Birds Cake

Michael turns five!

Michael had a great 5th Birthday. Here are some pictures from his Birthday Celebration with his friends and our little "actual birthday" Birthday Celebration.
